Delete your account
You can ask for your Odedara Labs account to be deleted at any time, with or without the app installed. This page says how, what goes, and what is kept.
How to ask
Write to [email protected] from the email address on the account, or send the phone number the account uses, and say which app you use — ODD Flow, Sabha or NCLC 7. No reason is needed and you will not be asked for one.
You will get a reply confirming the deletion, and it is done within 30 days of the request.
You do not need the app installed to ask. If you have already removed it, the email above is the whole process.
What is deleted
- Your account itself — name, email address, phone number and username
- Your sign-in credentials, and every signed-in session on every device
- Which apps the account had access to, and your settings in them
- Push notification subscriptions
- Your ODD Flow trips held on the server, including every recorded route, stop and photo
Deletion is not reversible. Once an account is deleted the same email address can be used to register a new one, but nothing from the old account comes back with it.
What is kept, and why
- A record that a deletion happened — the date, and an internal identifier that is not your name, email or phone number. It exists so the deletion can be shown to have been carried out, and it holds none of what was deleted.
- Sabha only: a housing society’s maintenance ledger is a financial record the society may be required to keep. Payments and receipts recorded against your flat stay with the society after your account is closed. Your name, contact details and sign-in are still deleted.
Trips on your phone
ODD Flow records to your phone first, and that copy is yours. Deleting your account does not reach into the phone: to remove local trips, delete them in the app, or remove the app, which takes its database with it.
The reverse is also true — removing the app does not delete your account or anything already synced. Ask by email for that.
Something short of deletion
If you want to stop recording without losing anything, you do not need to delete your account. Turning off location permission in your phone’s settings stops new trips being recorded and leaves what is already saved alone. Signing out, and ending a Pro subscription, also leave your account and your trips as they are.
