How Odedara Labs handles personal information on this site, in Sabha and in ODD Flow. Last updated 14 September 2026.
The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising scripts. If page analytics are enabled they are aggregate and cookie-free, and cannot identify you.
If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you type are sent to a form-delivery service and forwarded to my inbox. They are used to reply to you and for nothing else.
Sabha is used by housing societies to manage maintenance funds. Each society’s data is separate and visible only to that society’s members and committee.
The app stores:
Residents see their own flat and ledger. The committee and treasurer see the society’s records, which is what running the fund requires. Nobody outside your society sees any of it.
ODD Flow records journeys, so it collects where you went. That is the whole function of the app, and it is the most revealing thing on this page — a route log shows where you live, where you work and when you are away from both. It is treated accordingly.
While a recording is running, the app collects:
Your account holds an email address, a username, and a phone number and name if you give them. Passwords are stored as a one-way hash and never in readable form. Each signed-in device is listed with the name it reports and when it signed in, so you can spot one you do not recognise and end it.
Trips stay on your phone whether or not you have an account. An account is what copies them to the server, so a lost phone is not a lost history.
Nobody else can see your trips. There is no feed, no leaderboard, no sharing with other users, and no public profile.
Drawing a map means asking a map server for the tiles covering where you are. Those requests reach OpenStreetMap for the flat maps and Mapbox for the 3D replay, and they reveal your approximate location and your IP address to whichever one served the tile. Your identity and your saved trips are not sent — a tile request carries no account and no name. Neither is used for advertising, and no route is stored with either of them.
On a server under my control, transmitted over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database. Sabha records are kept while your society uses it, since a maintenance ledger is a financial record the society may need to refer back to. ODD Flow trips are kept until you delete them or close your account, because a history you cannot look back at is not worth recording.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask for your account to be removed. Deleting your ODD Flow account deletes the trips stored on the server with it, including every route. Financial records a society is required to keep may be retained after a Sabha account is closed. Write to [email protected] and I will respond within 30 days. Deleting your account sets out what goes and what is kept.
You can also withdraw permission at any time from your phone’s settings. Turning off location stops new trips being recorded; turning off motion access stops steps and climb being measured. Neither deletes what is already saved.
Both apps are intended for adults and neither is directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be notified in the app.
